@NigeriaStories The land alone is worth about ₦20bn. Finding over a hectare in one continuous parcel in the heart of Maitama is rare. The property is a 7storey structure, and from what I’ve seen, restoring it to a livable standard would likely cost ₦3–5bn, depending on the finish.

@DanKatsina50 The price gap isn’t Dangote’s monopoly. His product is cheaper abroad becse Nigeria’s dom taxes don’t apply to exports 30% income tax, 7.5% VAT, 2% EDT, 1% health tax, 10% withholding + multiple levies. High local costs too. Blame govt policies, not Dangote. Fix the system!
