Today, I joined H.E. the President in welcoming international evangelist Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn to State House Entebbe.

It was a special and deeply nostalgic meeting for me as I remembered her late mother, who visited our family many years ago. She prayed with us and gave each of our children their first Bible, together with one of her books. The memories of that visit remain very precious to our family.

I was honored to serve as Patron of the Uganda Clearing Industry and Forwarding Association (UCIFA), representing over 700 members, at an important engagement held at Kabira Country Club, Kampala.

The occasion brought together key stakeholders, including the URA Commissioner General, representatives of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Sanjay Tanna, and leaders from across Uganda’s clearing, forwarding and logistics industry.

Uganda’s competitiveness depends on efficient trade facilitation, professional standards, digitalization, faster cargo clearance and stronger cooperation between Government and the private sector. UCIFA remains a critical partner in making Uganda a competitive regional trade and logistics hub.
