@SomniNaut @christogrozev Exactly. It's called cosmoline and my Type 53 Mosin Nagant was drowning in it. A couple of hours work and a blow dryer to get the wood to sweat it out had it running like a champ. Based on the lack of maintenance on anything from the Russians I'm not surprised though.
