This is a great loss to our heritage. Nana Konadu demire fa due. Asantehemaa da Yie. It Is in this moment that reminds me of the responsibility and legacy I carry forward. I am proud to be a Queen mother in the Asante Kingdom. Long live Asanteman.

Nana Konadu Yiadom III Dote. The Queen is beautiful with an infectious smile 😍
I was genuinely excited to see the number of young people who showed up to fight for our environment. No propaganda, just pure love for our country and its environment. We stood our ground at the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs when they initially refused to accept our petition, even though we had given them prior notice a day before the protest. We continued protesting until they finally received it. Very proud of all of us! #StopGalamseyNow #StopGalamsey
Favourite thing about today’s protest: it was largely convened by young women. I know how lonely and frightening this road is. What they’ve been through, and how they’ve held their ground, is extraordinary and absolutely admirable. We need more like them.
#StopGalamseyNow
I have just listened to a small discussion on the #StopGalamseyNow protests scheduled for today on Radio Ghana, 95.7. The discussion misses completely the point, and I guess many citizens have the same misunderstanding. Let’s all note the following important points.
My manager was complaining about how unprofessional this new generation is with resigning jobs. He said his last employee quit by sending a message that said “it’s giving shackled. I quit” lmfao😂
