In 1998, System Tazvida travelled with the Chazezesa Challengers to Chimoio, Mozambique, where they filled a stadium.
System went onstage before the packed crowd, but his failing health overwhelmed him and he could not finish the show.
Lucky Mumiriki watched System struggle in pain and leave the stage as the Chazezesa Challengers continued without him.
The voice behind Anodyiwa Haataure, Musindo and Mabhauwa had fallen silent before the crowd that had come to hear him.
On 4 February 1999, System Tazvida died after a long illness.
He was 30.
His extraordinary recording career had lasted barely a decade.
The boy from Zaka had lived just long enough to make an entire country sing.
Zimbabwe never stopped loving his songs.
To everyone judging Feli Nandi over that twerking videoโฆ whatโs the plan exactly?
What if she gets upset and stops posting that kind of content? Please behave yourselves. ๐
@Not_Steve_Biko@AneleLekane No one with that kind of resume is sitting at home desperate for a job ๐๐๐ you think the qualified south Africans are unemployed?
๐ด This is not what we expect in a normal country where citizens should be treated well. How do individuals reach a level where they can attack people and treat them inhumanely? This is inexcusable behavior, and it must stop! Justice for these citizens! Zimbabweans do not deserve this!
United fans being in turmoil over this Fernandes deal, idk what to tell you. Spending big money on players and slapping crazy salaries on them is exactly what led us to where we are now, so why would we continue down that road?
