Just putting a post out there I was literally thinking this morning before Teslas Cybertruck Summon announcement, that it should be happening soon since ASS and FSD are on the same stack now lol
I hope the AI1 sat has disconnectors for the solar arrays, so if any debris hits one it can quickly and effectively detach that panel for it to burn up in the atmosphere if required and still run at some % of compute without having to replace it.
@SawyerMerritt@JoeTegtmeyer This is actually huge and insanely good data for it only being almost 2 months. More to work on of course and always will be but it’s amazing how far it’s come within just the last year.

My hope was to help align everyone's vision for SpaceX making life multi-planetary by releasing this interview right after the IPO on Friday.
We tried incredibly hard to finish the set build last month but the space suits took longer than expected to get right.
I know this week is likely the most jammed you will ever be and it would kill me if we can't make this happen.
With that in mind, I'm prepared to greenlight whatever spend is required to keep the set up until you're able to make it.
Just need a date.

@rodamn@SawyerMerritt Best part is Tesla can now test any vehicle they want however they want (street legal or not hehe) with the new Test Track at Giga Texas. God Roadster gonna be so good moving at insane speeds on that thing AND Cybercab gonna look crazy being bumper to bumper stress testing
@Strifez28 I had a flock of geese walk out in front of my Tesla literally yesterday (things are everywhere lol) and my Tesla did okay, I saw them and put on the blinker but once it started getting over close to them it moved over and slowed waaaaay down (probably more than it should’ve)
Absolutely, but I see what Tesla is envisioning, and I am here for it. These are gonna be very profitable in the beginning to setup more infrastructure to keep the ball going and then become less profitable as it matures. The end goal is to keep people safe with affordable rides, profitability can stick it if it means you and I get home safely without a drunk driver doing us in because it was “too expensive” or “not convenient” enough to get a Robotaxi.
