I’ve been in north Georgia at Lake Chatuge this week, as @TVAnews and Georgia Department of Natural Resources partnered with volunteers to plant 1,500 water willow and 100 button bush plants that will stabilize shoreline and provide fish habitat. The @TVAnews School Uplift program recently awarded a total of $350,000 to 12 Mississippi schools. The program helps schools find or create ways to cut costs on energy bills and schools see an average reduction of about 10 percent.
