my kids got married & instead of enjoying on honeymoon, they are supposed to deal with drought? emperor we have hunger going on from last 5-7 yrs let them eat each other out
#TheRoadtoSplendor
Tingyun’s father is TERRIBLE. 😭 The audacity to fail your child that badly and still feel entitled to them?? He’s entering #TheGlory Shi Yang levels of awful fathers. #TheRoadtoSplendor
I think ppl saw it from Tingyun’s POV, but this scene showed ZL’s kindness isn’t just for her. He saw firsthand what ruining a woman’s reputation can do. Even his warning was “don’t do this to another woman.” That’s simply who he is..... #TheRoadtoSplendor
watching trts ep 21 and why did people say zhaoling is stupid for falling into aunt wu's trap when he did it because he has watched tingyun's reputation be tarnished the same damn way omg he has empathy
Mind you, this is a man whose own mother chose to DIE in the CAPITAL so he could get praised for being a filial son 😭😭 and now he thinks Zhao Ling owes him favors??? Sir, you’ve been carried by women your entire life. PLEASE REST.#TheRoadtoSplendor
Tingyun’s father can possibly think Zhao Ling would do him any favours after the way the Fu family treated her. The entitlement and foolishness is outrageous.

@itis_luna I love her sm .... so straightforward & quick-witted. She handles every rival w/ one smart comeback and keeps it moving. No time for explanations...😅 #TheRoadToSplendor
Miss Wu made questionable choices too, but instead of letting insecurity turn into resentment, she learned, asked Tingyun for help & chose a different path. I LOVE that. Another woman’s strength doesn’t have to be competition; sometimes it’s the blueprint. 😭❤️ #TheRoadToSplendor
The Yake/Miss Wu parallel is so well done.. Both started w/ little power or security, but Tingyun’s strength brought out completely different reactions. Yake saw a threat & became insecure. Miss Wu saw possibility, if she can change her fate, maybe I can too.🥹 #TheRoadToSplendor
@kissofapril THIS...#TheRoadtoSplendor gives us deeply flawed women shaped by the same system in completely different ways and somehow the takeaway became which woman can I insult the most??? You can drag a character’s ACTIONS without resorting to the exact misogyny the drama is criticizing.
@blueandgreyivy Madam Yu understands power as a system...she reads ppl, plans ahead & rarely wastes a move. Her husband & maid match her wavelength, but her son and Yake? All her privilege, NONE of her discipline...hey can’t adapt, won’t listen & leave her cleaning up every mess.
I LOVE Madam Wei 😭 that woman has ZERO time for nonsense. No manipulation, no 10-step schemes. She’ll tell you exactly what it is & keep it moving. And the fake crying + “fine, I’ll divorce you” to handle her husband??? 😭😭 ICON.
@MultiSakalam THIS!!!!!! especially Netflix because if this was on there, i genuinely think way more people would be watching and talking about it. the platform is definitely holding it back.
i wish more people were watching #MyBiasMyBoss there's nothing groundbreaking about it, but it's so funny and unapologetically cheesy. the pacing and character writing are carrying the show for me. we're entering the MAKE-OR-BREAK STAGE now, so PLEASE DON'T RUIN IT
@cinnamongirl144 exactly.... sometimes you just need a silly, cheesy romcom that doesn't take itself too seriously. i'm having way too much fun with this one.
I've officially reached my limit with the daily release schedule for #TheRoadtoSplendor.......Time to put this on hold for a bit and start #ZhanZhaoAdventures while I wait.
Sanniang really is my spirit animal. Every time someone has the AUDACITY, her face is already saying exactly what I'm thinking. The side-eyes, defending Tingyun, speaking her mind... she’s basically the audience representative. 😂 My fave side character fr. #TheRoadToSplendor
Sometimes dramas fail to deliver the proper palace aura
#TheRoadToSplendor really makes you feel you are in ancient China and the cinematography is exquisite.
@muziqis Honestly, I think this is where the 36-episode limit hurts the story. Asen is young, so he doesn’t understand the gray areas of life yet. He only sees betrayal. If we had more episodes, the 5-year separation arc could have been explored much better.
