Senator Lana Theis accused me by name of grooming and sexualizing children in an attempt to marginalize me for standing up against her marginalizing the LGBTQ community...in a fundraising email, for herself.
Hate wins when people like me stand by and let it happen. I won't.
Rep. Raskin: "Senators, this trial in the final analysis is not about Donald Trump. The country and world know who Donald Trump is. This trial is about who we are, who we are."
Mitch McConnell on Jan 19:
“The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people. And they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government”
Mitch McConnell on Feb 13:
“not guilty”
.@LeaderMcConnell delivered a speech absolutely torching Trump for months of lies about the election, aiming the mob at the Capitol and delaying any response to call them off. But now he’s arguing the senate can’t convict a private citizen. He delayed trial until Trump was out.
Rep. Neguse: "The trial will end, we'll resume out lives and our work. But for some, there will be no end, no end to the pain of what happened on January 6th. The officers who struggle to recover from the injuries they sustained to protect us. They struggle to recover today."
The insurrection at the Capitol would not have happened 'but for’ Donald Trump’s lies about the election’s legitimacy and his repeated calls for supporters to gather in Washington on January 6. For that reason, I voted to convict. My full statement: https://t.co/go4SfcFr7q
57 United States Senators concluded President Trump was guilty of inciting an insurrection. The highest bipartisan vote to convict in US history. That’s a damning vote.
@tedcruz Let's be blunt: No patriotic American could watch Trump mastermind the Jan 6 terrorist attack on the Capitol and not vocally condemn it. Yet literally 95% of GOP members of Congress are standing with Trump. How do we not view those GOP members as TRAITORS? I'm 100% serious, how?
