Summer Training Tip #3
-7 v 7 is conditioning
-Hockey or lacrosse skills / practice is conditioning
-Weekend games count as Monday’s conditioning ( unless it’s baseball or softball, sorry)
Our big questions are “what did you do this weekend” and “what do you have after this”

@pntrack@leetaft I heard it every year with my daughter. She swam and dove in the summer until 13. One of the best players every fall.
Summer games prior to high school are for parents egos.
We're not even sure what we are afraid of. We're told if we don't join our child in the "elite" program they will fall behind. Those are simply baseless spoken words. The truth is development of a skill or playing ability is available to 100% of kids. It can't be taken from them.
@leetaft I was told my son would be a 🏈 nobody as a freshman if he didn’t play on the 8th grade elite (travel) team. With a son playing HS 🏈, another playing in college 🏈, and me being varsity 🏈 OC, we chose to play locally (best for family).
The next year my son was starting QB.
Our MS lacrosse players had the opportunity to practice drills with professional @PantherCityLax players Nate Grenon and Phil Caputo yesterday! Special thanks to the Bibb family for coordinating this inspirational time for our players! @TVS_Trojans@TVSathletics
🥍| @TVSLacrosse Senior Night is highlighted by 16 seniors players, & 2 managers. We’re very proud of all of our seniors players and managers. Thank you to all our players, managers, coaches, and parents for their contributions to the lacrosse program and TVS community.

"By age 13, around 70% of kids will quit organized sports. Why? Because despite all the research that shows the benefits of youth sports, kids say “it’s just not fun anymore.”

Word on the next step for the German youth football structure: U7-U9 will be 2v2 and 3v3, four goals and no GK. Up to 5v5 at U11 before heading to 9v9 at U13 apparently. Equal game time mandatory and no keeping score. Big statement of intent for the game there.
