WLW representation in soaps has existed but it’s rarely been lasting. Often feels like a token gesture, brief and marked by trauma rather than meaningful enduring SLs. We can only hope for future portrayals that allow healing, stability and the rhythms of everyday life

There is a difference between appreciating someone and feeling entitled to access every corner of their PERSONAL life. Be smart enough to know the difference.
Admire the work, respect the person, and recognise that privacy and consent still matter.
Be a fan, not a creep.
Question: Who thinks it's a good idea to post photos and videos of someone with their ex, especially when that ex is no longer in their life? How would you feel if it happened to you?
#swarla fandom gone too far 😡
Fandom should be about celebrating talent, storytelling, and characters, not treating actors as public property. There is a difference between appreciating someone and feeling entitled to access every corner of their personal life.
@carlacharityx How is this impacting the actresses personal lives?
No need to answer, because it's not.
This depiction is no different from other artistry drawings, paintings or images.
@soapcorriefan PS. I'm ok. My experiences were years ago, but it has shaped how I perceive the "community" as has also seen it all too often with friends, and friends of friends.
@soapcorriefan Personal experience is why this matters to me. When family or authorities dismiss your experiences, representation hits differently. W/W DV and SA is still too often minimised
We’ll have to wait and see if this is genuine storytelling or a dragged out SL that misses the point
