MVNU students, check your email for the opportunity to win one of ten $20 Happy Bean gift cards before noon today. Also, you'll have a chance at a $250 scholarship before the weekend's over.
@zoebricker My kids told me about this tweet and taught me to look it up. It's a little weird, but thanks for the love, everyone. See you on twitter next month.
Help us honor MVNU seniors all week by using #MVNU2020. Also, FYI, there will be a live Senior Celebration on YouTube on May 2. Follow MVNU's official social media pages for more info this week.
@elizabthburgess @DisgruntledCol1 @DisgruntledCol1, on an anonymous account, you implied that someone covered up a serious incident. We take that very seriously and you have a legal and moral responsibility to report it immediately. Come forward to the Title IX office or call the police.
Seek justice and defend the cause of the oppressed while exhibiting love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
This is the narrow way.
@MVNUAdversary I understand your fear. Our current climate encourages picking an enemy to argue, silence, ostracise, belittle, dehumanize, insult, shame, and demean. I'm sorry this is the cultural quagmire we swim in. I will email, hoping that soon you will trust enough to meet face to face.
@MVNUAdversary I will be glad to meet. As with all students, I will listen and not attempt to convert you to my beliefs. Will you do the same? If so, email me. Social media conversations won't even come close to what looking each other eye to eye will.
@rissfish12 Yes, it will be hard but we can. It's easy to love in good times, but our call is to love even when being hated. This is the toughest battle you will ever fight - to love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you.
The hate-filled students on our campus represent such a small minority of who we actually are as a student body, yet we give them so much weight. I would rather let the good of our community drown out the negativity a few students choose to spread. We are so much more than that.
