“happy place” by emily henry
i’ve taken a break from emily over the past couple of years, but this was a worthwhile read. it’s a bit more “fluffy,” and it addresses some pieces of adult friendships that are fairly relatable. not mad about jumping back into it.
“the glass girl” by kathleen glasgow
i did enjoy this one, but i do feel like it can be a bit challenging to write some aspects of adolescent addiction, so some plot points felt a bit less genuine. but overall, of course i had to read it…kathleen wrote it.
