The Serial Killers Apprentice revisits the chilling legacy of Dean Corll—infamously known as The Candyman Killer.

In the early 1970s, Corll lured and murdered at least 28 young men in Houston, Texas, operating undetected thanks to the help of two teenage accomplices: Henley and David Brooks. But in 1973, Henley turned on Corll, fatally shooting him and leading authorities to the burial sites of their victims.

For the first time in five decades, Henley sits down with renowned criminologist Dr. Katherine Ramsland to unpack the psychological grip Corll held over him, the crimes they committed, and the trauma that still haunts Houston.
