The re-orientation of human consciousness towards experiencing itself as an aspect of the eco-system made self-aware is slowly becoming the main ethical course of action. The lense through which all actions pass-through to verify their sustainability
Appreciate the thread. A few things I see as true and a few that are still open.
The Cambrian jump, the chimp to human shift, and similar gene counts are real topics. Most biologists think the key is how genes are switched on and off, not just how many genes we have.
Punctuated equilibrium has support. Big environmental shocks can speed up change. Recent mammal genomes strengthened that picture.
Melanin does more than color. It can absorb light and help with stress. Infrared light can also help mitochondria work better. Where the science is still not settled is the idea that melanin provides a major share of our energy like chlorophyll does in plants. Food and oxygen remain the main ATP sources in humans.
The physics parts are interesting. Some of it lines up with known effects. Other parts like biological transmutation and large energy from melanin and water are not proven yet. If strong evidence shows up, I will certainly pay attention.
I like the reminder that biology lives inside light, water, and environment. I am open to all these ideas and also want clear measurements that others can repeat.
@krassenstein@CrawfordBr60 I don’t agree with the findings of that court, further investigation reveals that this “source” may not be reliable. However, from what I’m reading, there was a ruling made by a judge that he was incredibly identified as being part of MS 13.

@BillyBaldwin This is probably the best article I read on the subject, it appears that the evidence tying him to MS 13 is pretty thin

@pjaicomo Probably the best article I’ve heard about the situation. Whether or not this man deserves to be deported, he doesn’t appear to deserve to be in jail.

OK, thank you for providing that context. I stand corrected.
John Sauer is gonna have to be the one to clear this up. It looks like.
I’m still not clear on what the administrative error was. The guy who was deported had already been marked for deportation and been confirmed to be part of MS 13. Once MS 13 got designated as a terrorist organization a lot of his legal protections went away
@pjaicomo@Pablo_1791 To be fair, the “government” in this case was a single DOJ employee who has since been fired. The official stance of the government outside of that one former employee is that there was no mistake.
@theninakai@KTmBoyle Have you seen the studies where the kids that receive two hours of un structured free time playing outdoors, have a reduction in their “symptoms“ that is in line with the kids that receive ADHD medication?
@cturnbull1968 Are you telling me that printing $37 trillion dollars to cover up our warts and buy cheap toys made by 12 year old kids was not sustainable?
