@Claireashb25012@patcondell Were you around in the 1980's? We used to live in a high trust society with far less violence. The shift has been dramatic.
@JocastaMoney Think I'll choose a katana & rice flail for my religious & culturally diverse inclusions that need to be carried for ceremonial purposes. Don't be a racist, thanks.
@is_tmac82933@WhiteSoilCO Your attitude comes from propaganda.
Problem - reaction - solution. Your attitude creates the problem. You're seeing the reaction. Then the government will provide the prepared (right-wing) solution that the normies are asking for now.
@is_tmac82933@WhiteSoilCO Cheap foreign labor was used to stave off the economic death spiral. Immigration & wars feed QE. Immigrants were chattel to the planners of this.
We're getting to the point where the same establishment that bought immigrants in, don't need them any more.
@David90shaw It's the consequence of fiat currency dying in 2008. QE was a death spiral that was underwritten by cheap labour, low wages & falling living standards.
We're getting to the bit now where the system fails and we can't print our way out of it.
@Varelli1999@WallStreetApes Different structures also resonate at different frequencies. If you play music that covers a wide range of low frequencies you have more chance of resonating a wider range of structures. Drum & bass works well.
@just__mohsen@kangminlee Migration was used to pad out the economy and stave off the 2008 financial situation.
That situation is coming to a close now, hence the shift in politics. Right-wing parties will come in and "save the people", then everyone will be happy besides the human trafficked.
@Essex_Patriot As a semi-Chinese, I've found some of the most accepting people can be the "racist" Essex & east end lads.
The colorful language was a form of acceptance of our differences. We are different, it was an identity that gave you a place.
@drdina1@Essex_Patriot The dynamic might be different in the US. My father's family fled communism, he gave his children Christian names.
He had a loyalty to the UK system that most people don't have because he had a direct perspective of how it improved his life, it gave him a family, work, a home.
