The same rule applies to his heir. Hide that grandson from the kingdom and you have already abdicated the crown you pretend he should wear. He remains what you chose to keep him, only your grandson.

Queen Mother, you cannot keep him in the shadows and still demand he be treated as future king. You cannot claim both the intimacy of family and the majesty of monarchy while ignoring the customs that turn a boy into an heir of a whole throne. By failing to present him to the realm, you decided. You wanted a grandson, not a king.
