Today, I hosted Mr. Gilbert Weill, one of the survivors of the 1976 Entebbe hijacking, together with his family and friends at State House, Entebbe, as they returned to Uganda nearly 50 years after that tragic incident.
I told them that although the hijacking was a tragedy, the rescue operation became a turning point and marked the beginning of the collapse of the Idi Amin regime. I also shared Uganda’s journey from those difficult days to the peace, stability and progress we enjoy today, and emphasized the need to strengthen economic cooperation between Uganda, Israel and Europe, especially in value addition and agro-industrialisation.

Today, I campaigned in Kalangala in support of the NRM Woman MP candidate, Idah Nabayiga, and urged the people to vote for her so we can strengthen coordination and accelerate service delivery.
I assured them that Government will add two ferries on the Nakiwogo–Lutoboka and Bukakata–Kalangala routes, extend electricity, improve health and education services, and continue supporting wealth creation through palm oil, the Four-Acre Model and sustainable fishing.

As part of the Cabinet Retreat, we participated in the Exercise Sharpshooter challenge. I am pleased to report that Her Excellency the Vice President @jessica_alupo the guest of honor scored an impressive 100% all 12 bullets hit the target.

As for me, I managed to hit 3 out of 10 targets, considering it was my very first time handling such an exercise. Respect to our gallant Generals and professional instructors. Given more opportunities to practice, I am confident my performance will greatly improve.

That said, I was still ahead of many participants, including Hon. @norbertmao , who managed one and a half targets!

Let me also ask, When Otafiire attacks Gen MK, doesn’t he know who Gen MK is to President Museveni? And is attacking his friend's Son a sign of comradeship? Those historicals started targeting Gen MK from the time he enrolled as an LDU. Imagine?
