Was very good to me during my time in CIT - freshers coach along with many other teams. A really good man who will be fondly remembered for his energy and genuine nature. RIP Brendan
Sad to report the passing of @MTU_ie Student GAA Club stalwart Brendan Driscoll. Brendan coached all hurling teams from freshers through to Fitzgibbon Cup. A hugely energetic & popular coach but most of all a gentleman. Our sympathies go to his family and friends. May he RIP.
Thanks to my own @wghns for giving me the opportunity to talk today about the upcoming Plant the Planet games for @selfhelpafrica. Kindly doing a ‘Jersey Day’ on Friday to support it along with a number of other schools in Kerry.
Always enjoyed his lectures and simply bumping into him and chatting to him around CIT-a really good man who brought energy to everything. RIP Kevin Kehily

Next weekend's Leinster/Munster hurling games - none of them on terrestrial television again!!!
Cork v Limerick and Carlow v Kilkenny both on GAAGO next Saturday!
So that's two weekends in a row without hurling on RTÉ - that just beggars belief for the product that we have!
