No sugar daddy relentlessly prostituting your club in a gigantic sport washing geo political exercise. Just pure fair sport.
Some of your fanbase can be unbearable but tonight is your night.
Congratulations.
Just finished reading “The Coaching Journey: Simple Wisdom for Coaching in Grassroots Football” by @GaryPiggott.
A brilliant read for anybody involved in grassroots football, especially new coaches. Simple, relatable and full of practical coaching wisdom. ⚽👏
There’s a weird agenda around Arsenal right now.
“Boring.”
“Only set-pieces.”
“Bottlers.”
“No winning culture.”
Let’s talk facts:
Went away to Brighton.
Took three massive points.
Stayed ahead in the title race.
Increased their lead
Was it a classic? No.
Did it need to be? Also no.
Title races aren’t won on vibes. They’re won on results.
We’ve seen champion teams grind out ugly away wins for years. When they do it, it’s “mentality.” When Arsenal do it, it’s “boring.”
Three points. Away from home. Under pressure.
That’s not bottling.
That’s growing up.
That’s getting closer to the title
Chelsea celebrating a draw at home that saw their best player leave due to massive headloss, and immediately paying for it with a dreadful loss to relegation fodder, is the perfect ending to that short story. Horrible club.
Conservative ball from Eze, conservative backheel from a Euros
-winning midfielder, conservative cutback from 19yo academy midfielder playing inverted fullback, smashed home conservatively by an 18yo academy graduate who made his senior debut at 15.
This is actually a deal that suits both clubs. Chelsea get to advance their goal of having every young player in world football without any plan for how to use them. And united get to execute on their plan to own as much overpriced trash as possible.
Never wanna hear a Liverpool fan knock Arteta again.
If we were 8 points clear of Liverpool & they were playing Endo up front because Salah, Gakpo, Jota & Nunez were all injured,,,, I’d be sleeping like a fucking baby.
Rattled
Just in case anyone wasn't aware this seasons top 2 team are Arsenal & LIverpool
So this weekends ref is Mr Peter Bankes
Pete is 'allegedly' a Liverpool fan AND isn't allowed to officiate Liverpool games
Anyone see any issues with this?
