Tomorrow I'll be in Nitra for the Slovak Esports Championships by @YGamesSlovakia! You can check out some exciting Counter-Strike and say hi while I spread the word of Trackmania😇
⬇️Link with more info (in Slovak) below.
4th at #XPEVO ! Complex emotions, but hugely positive. I made too many mistakes in the grand final and my opponents played out of their minds for their podium spots. Overall however, I feel my performance has been some of my best this decade and I'm proud of it. Amazing event!
ABSOLUTE CINEMA. 😱
A three-way battle to the very end, and @tweenTM2 snipes it at the LAST possible moment to book his spot in the GRAND FINAL! 🔥

Hi, my name is Marek and yesterday, I threw away a huge opportunity by bonking my nose into the finish like this. "The Incident", let's call it.
It's not exactly healthy to dwell on it, but it's all my mind is serving me currently so I might as well ramble publicly.
A thread 👇
And I was right! Of those who had clean runs, I was second last, beating Xerar by a hundredth. But, I had to make a slight adjustment in the identity and the person who crashed jumped over me in the end!
That person was no other than @SsouljaTM who then went on to win that cup.
So yeah, that is the story! Hope you enjoyed it, maybe took something from it. Now I'm going to enjoy the summer and then hopefully bounce back for ENC.
I had a decent turnaround, but my lead shrinked from 0.067 to 0.025, which indicated to me Legu had it insane. Making an evaluation, and then a moment of hesitation to adjust due to trauma from Elite Cup led to The Incident.
Once you are in the air with icy wheels, you are done.
This brings us to The Incident. I was faced with the decision to push and have a free finalist round, or take it safer and possibly allow Legu to become finalist as well. I chose the former, maybe that was wrong regardless of outcome, feel free to comment on that.
So that was that. What I thought was my biggest opportunity to score big, gone like that. Needless to say, that adjustment I had to make haunted me and I went back and put in hours in order to never have to make it again.
Little did I know how much this is going to cost me.
But from my POV it's also crazy. All the rounds before had knockouts above 1:04, and now I was out with 1:03.24. Which is a clunky, safe run, but clean. Only 2 later rounds had faster knockoutees.
(datavis from @lavaTM_ - get them for official TM esports stats pls best content)
That is INSANE. He pulled out the equivalent of a 1:02.3x, pretty much a full-push round, in order to just about catch up to the field and stay alive. (dear orgs, how is this man not signed yet. respectfully, what are you doing)
