For those that missed it the Active Directory tier model documentation recently had a huge uplift, and even more importantly, the scripts used to configure your AD in line with this tiered model (tier 0-1-2) have been fully open sourced for your use.
The updated repo also contains scripts to audit drift from the baselines, and a detailed FAQ to help you deploy the model.

@SwedishRumble I watch Inter due to family member being a fan. Augusto is a very mediocre player on the eye test. Inter fans don't rate him either. I have high doubts he could raise the floor at United. But, Inter will sell him for cheap, so ...
@JakobsenKjartan@ammandev I guess it depends on the player and the price. I really want to trust their data driven model, however, the fact that they paid 50 mil for AS, tells me they are failing on negotiations for respective targets, still overpaying.
There is value outside EPL, yet we fail to get it.
@Piquelme21 Yet there are people considering him world class, baffles me every time.
World class should be reserved for consistency at the highest level, like even on an off day they should deliver a 7/10 performance, game changers through mentality and ability, able to step up when needed.
@Muppetiers I don't always agree with James, but he is spot on. SJR said he wants to buy the "next Mbappe", well this is the opportunity to buy the next best midfielder, but sadly I don't see it happening.
@Malachians Nothing snarky about it mate, since a random calls you out for misleading info when in fact they should have reformulated and ask how you got to that conclusion! 😅
@Malachians Fair enough, I took it as "take the money and get rid", since I expected to see something about monthly payments, not a one off. I apologize.
@Malachians Yeah, but that's an assumption, we don't know it as a fact. The numbers there are facts in official docs.
I might have the wrong understanding of the docs, in which case, mea culpa.

Check the second screenshot there mate, that's why this might not be as straightforward as it should be. But I am more than happy to be wrong.
Cheers RM. Few things to note here. Articles mentioning a saving from RA going to Milan are referencing the £15.9mn provision #MUFC stated in their 2Q26 results. The 3Q26 results actually reported a higher exceptional cost of £16.7mn (a cost they believe, due to contracts, they are certain to pay).
There could be a clause where if RA got hired within say a 12 month settlement period, United don't have to pay RA and his staff the remainder of the payout (if they're paid the same or more at Milan), or they cover the difference between their Milan and United salaries.
There would be savings under both, but would be lower under second scenario (which is probably the most likely). But, imo, it would be United paying less to RA and staff rather than Milan compensating United.
@realsavanti That's a good point.
I believe he set standards and led by example, but had less influence during a match. The same thing with Modric at Milan.
Might be a language barrier.
Maybe he would have had a way bigger impact had he spoken the language.
@Muppetiers Fact is, UTD have NEVER won a title with him in the starting lineup, so all this bollocks about him being class is a lot of smoke from drunks and xenophobes. Mediocre player for a mediocre team, once we get rid and replace with quality we will be better off.
