Today the European Parliament voted 418-218 to pass the strictest migration law in EU history.

When the result was announced, MEPs started chanting.

"Send them back."

Inside the parliament chamber. On the floor. In 2026.

Here's what the law actually does:

— Deportation orders now apply across all EU member states. You can't evade removal by crossing a border.

— Detention before deportation extended from 6 months to 30 months. Unlimited for security threats.

— "Return hubs" in third countries. Migrants can be transferred outside the EU while awaiting deportation — including families with children.

— Automatic deportation stays while appeals are pending? Gone. Courts decide case by case.

— Entry bans double from 5 to 10 years. Lifetime bans for security risks.

Currently only about 20% of people ordered deported from the EU actually leave.

For years European leaders told voters that open borders and mass migration were non-negotiable — that wanting enforcement meant you were a fascist.

418 Members of the European Parliament just disagreed.

Trump proved his immigration policies were popular enough to win elections.

After a wave of right-wing electoral gains across the continent, Europe is following in his footsteps.

And the Overton Window is getting kicked off its hinges.

Lara Logan just broke down a pattern that hits different once you see it.

Why did the French and American revolutions, inspired by similar ideals, end up having such different outcomes? In The Constitution of Liberty, Friedrich Hayek, contrasts two competing traditions of liberalism: the Anglo-American tradition of evolved liberty and the French tradition of rationalist constructivism. He argues that while the US placed constitutional limits on state power, the French revolutionaries, influenced by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, argued that sovereignty resided solely in the people. To them, liberty meant participating in democracy, and no limits should be set on what government could be asked to do. Indeed, any institutional constraint could be viewed as treason. The revolutionaries therefore drafted a positive constitution, empowering the state to enact the “will of the people.” By contrast, the American Founding Fathers saw democracy primarily as a means to the peaceful transition of power. The preservation of liberty depended not on the changing will of the majority, but on a so-called negative constitutional order that limited what any majority could ask the government to do.
Hayek argues that the strongest justification for freedom is acknowledging the fundamental limitations of individual human knowledge. If human reason was supreme, government could indeed design society in accordance with the will of the people. But because individual human knowledge is incomplete, society must rely on a spontaneous order of individuals acting on their unique, localized knowledge, protected from arbitrary changes to the rules of the game by a constitution.
While Hayek expressed deep admiration for the spirit of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights, he was critical of the subsequent watering down of the principles through the addition and interpretation of clauses such as the Commerce and Welfare Clauses. A constitution, he argued, should be strictly negative, meant only to shackle the state and protect individual spheres of freedom.

Interesting pattern I keep noticing. The left says he is targeting political opponents. I noticed three things about all of these people.

Every person Trump is supposedly "targeting" happens to check all three of these boxes: furious that the NGO gravy train got shut down, LOUDLY against DOGE finding fraud, AND has active whistleblowers reporting they are actually committing — or knowingly allowing — fraud.

What a remarkable coincidence.

Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16+ hour days and forced divorces.

Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime.

Trump's Executive Order on USPS & Mail-In Ballots could finally end rigged elections in California & beyond, regulating mail-in voting at the federal level.

The EO puts states on the hook to accompany a list of the eligible voters that are going to vote federally and who they're going to provide mail-in ballots to and also adds a unique intelligent mail barcode for tracking.

Trump's March 31, 2026 EO directs the Postmaster General to start proposed rulemaking within 60 days to create uniform national standards for mail-in and absentee ballots.

Ballot envelope must be marked "Official Election Mail" with USPS-approved logo/markings.

Must be automation-compatible with a unique Intelligent Mail barcode for tracking.

Must pass USPS envelope design review for compliance.

States must notify USPS at least 90 days before a federal election if they plan to use mail-in/absentee ballots via USPS.

States must submit a list of eligible voters at least 60 days before the election.

USPS shall not transmit mail-in or absentee ballots to anyone not on a State-specific list.

USPS must create and maintain a "Mail-In and Absentee Participation List" for each state. Providing states with lists of enrolled individuals with unique barcode identifiers.

All processes must comply with the Privacy Act. Final rule must be issued no later than 120 days from the EO date. This is a HUGE win for election integrity.
