We haven't yet heard back from Twitter with any detail explaining why API access for Tweetlogix has been blocked. For now, we've (hopefully temporarily) removed Tweetlogix from sale on the App Store. https://t.co/zRjV7sKIEd
As of tonight, we haven't yet heard anything from Twitter regarding the problem affecting Tweetlogix. We'll continue to post updates as soon as we have more information. https://t.co/zRjV7sKIEd
Thanks to everyone for reporting the authentication problem. Tweetlogix and several other Twitter apps have been unable to log into Twitter for the past several hours. I've reached out to Twitter about the problem and will post an update when I have more information.
@Kassan6ra Unfortunately, polls are not available to third party apps through Twitter's 1.1 API. Hopefully we can support them in the future with Twitter's new v2 API, but I can't say for sure at this point.
@MarcSettle I'm not yet sure. I think mixed media is available only with Twitter's v2 API, which is a problem since most of the v2 API endpoints have limits/caps that are too low for our usage.
@mynameisken3 Although the capacity can be set to 2500, Twitter's API is limited to delivering a maximum of 800 tweets from a given point in time. Setting the capacity to a larger value allows the app to accumulate more tweets in its cache over time.
@ngenKw Not sure, but support for GIPHY is something I’m considering. Twitter hasn't yet added API support to enable third party apps to vote in polls.
@ngenKw In the Compose view, tap More > Albums. From there you can select a video, animated GIF, or image from your photo library to attach to the tweet.
@muziqjp You can create a multi-part thread by repeatedly replying to the last tweet in your thread. Each time you reply, you will want to remove your @username prefix from the beginning of the reply tweet.
@PinKIYSensei I haven't been able to recreate that problem. The removal of duplicate retweets is actually performed on Twitter's side, not by Tweetlogix. Perhaps they're retweets of slightly different tweets.
@ElMandjo Unfortunately, Twitter's API doesn't provide direct access to replies, so the app is limited to a relatively small sample of replies that can be found in recent search results.
