WOW! The young people suing Montana over the right to a livable climate just won their case!!!!!
This is absolutely HUGE and will open up the floodgates for more climate lawsuits.

This is mind-boggling. Ontarians are being told that one political staffer was able to take over the machinery of government and override civil servants to remove land from the cherished, protected Greenbelt, increasing the value of developers’ - who are key donors to the Conservative party - property by billions of dollars. And neither the minister nor the Premier knew?
Yeah, that is believable.
If this was true, it would be the most remarkable failure of leadership.
There are now three reasons for the Minister to resign:
1) violation of the Planning Act, in removing these lands without due process as established in regulation
2) the breach of public trust, in serving the interests of a handful of developers instead of the public
3) lying about doing so

The @OntarioAuditor just confirmed that Premier Doug Ford gave away our #Greenbelt to enrich his buddies.
And now, he has failed the test of leadership by taking no accountability & by blaming immigrants, cities, and the federal government.
Ontario deserves better.
An explosive report shows the decision to open the Greenbelt was rigged to benefit a few developers - who now stand to gain $8 billion. Call on the Ford government to reverse the Greenbelt decision NOW: https://t.co/RVQvhEi5Ud #ONpoli#dougford#FordFailedOntario #DougFordIsCorrupt #DougFordResign
It's #RichThinkingTuesday! Invest in yourself via proper planning! Martin Hiden "From the time I signed my first contract of my professional football career when I was 18 years old, I was very aware of the fact that many pro athletes do almost nothing after their career ends."

Johnny Robinson had a difficult upbringing. His father was murdered by a neighbor and he frequently witnessed the anti-Black racial violence of Birmingham, Alabama.
Fifty racially motivated bombings took place in the city between 1945 and 1963.
On September 15, 1963, Several white teens drove by Johnny and his friends, yelling racial slurs and waving Confederate flags. The white teens threw bottles, and Johnny and his friends retaliated by throwing rocks.
When the police arrived, Johnny and his friends ran. Johnny was shot in the back by Officer Jack Parker and died before reaching the hospital.
Florida wants to prohibit white “discomfort.” Johnny Robinson was a Black 16-year-old kid killed by cops, but by all means, let’s prohibit white “discomfort.” #FreshVoicesRise #BlackHistoryWithLana

BOOK BAN BEATEN.
The second largest city in Manitoba Canada just said HELL NO to the 6 assholes demanding a committee be created to start banning books for ALL students in their public school.
USA citizens, this is how we win here:
1. Get out the word that right wingers are targeting your school to take away books.
2. Flood the school board with opposition to a book ban. Check out the video to see how many messages they sent in.
3. Show up. Get there for proposals, debates... speak out. Make it impossible for them to screw over the public quietly.
This is what Jason Foster did (pictured). He and his community WON.
We're in a global fight against hate and against fascism.
If they can do it in Canada, we can do it here.
