@TheStingisBack My Dad passed away 5 years ago. This was one of his favourite movies, so it always makes me think of him, this scene in particular. Condolences to you, sir.
@rufusjones1 Geoff Capes was the reason a major household plumbing job at ours got delayed when I was a boy. Dad bought lengths of copper piping, which I found I could use to emulate GC by bending them around my neck. I was mightily impressed with my newfound strength. My Dad, less so…
@ExtremeBand ‘No Respect’. As a guitarist and guitar tutor, I play students this track (and especially the solo) for abject lessons in phrasing, timing, and a band that are locked together. Absolutely love the album.
@Vicky_McClure Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was moved by the people who wanted to thank your Grandad. Currently reading James Holland's book about the Sherwood Rangers, Nottingham's own tank regiment, delivered on D-Day in LCTs. The most remarkable generation, we're indeed lucky to have known them.
@carolvorders Had a similar one for Braintree (constituency 'represented' by our inaccurately-named Foreign Secretary, Mr Cleverley). It's currently canvassing the residents of my bin.
@MitchBenn After Dad died, I was watching something on TV, and had two thoughts, the initial one being, "Oh, I must tell Dad about this", and the follow-up being, "Ah, that's the first one" ☹️
@FiverrSupport My work for Order #FO31194C8B985 is failing to upload, but the issue is not with my system. I'm trying to message the client, but it's not working. I've tried raising a Support Ticket, but keep getting 'Action Failed'. 12 hours left to deliver job. Help!
