The numbers have been derived after the detailed study on the history of Kerala Box-office & the performance of Tamil movies.

SAFEST RECOVERABLE RIGHTS FOR TAMIL MOVIES at KERALA Box-office :

🔻For Small Scale Movies —

🔸 The safest recoverable rights is around 40-50 Lakhs. If very confident, Can go upto 75 Lakhs, anything above is a blind risk.

🔻For Star-leded Movies ( Non-sequel ) —

🔸Category 1 ( Karthi, PR, Jiva, Ravi Mohan, Vishal, Siva Karthikeyan etc ) — 1 - 1.50 Crores. With high confidence, can go upto 2 Crores, anything above is blind risk.

🔸Category 2 ( Vijay Sethupathy, Dhanush, Ajith, Kamal Hassan ) — 2.50 - 3 Crores. With high confidence, can go upto 3.50 Crores, anything above is high risk.

🔸Category 3 ( Suriya, Vikram ) — 4.50 - 5 Crores. With high confidence can go upto 6 Crores. Anything above is high risk.

🔸Category 4 ( Rajni , Vijay ( retired ) ) — 6 - 7 Crores. With high confidence can go upto 8 Crores. Anything above is high risk.

🔸Category 5 ( Sequel Movies ) — Almost 1.6X ( 1.6 Times of the previous movie's final share ) as new rights , with high confidence, can go upto 2X times bigger. Anything above is pure risk.

🔸Category 6 ( Lokesh Kanagaraj ) — 10 - 11 Crores. With LCU & Huge star cast, can go upto 15-17 Crores. Anything above is high risk.

These are the pure statistical numbers found after the study on historical data of Tamil movie's overall performance at Kerala Box-office. This need not want to be 100% applicable for all upcoming movies as cinema is unpredictable & audience's responses are the key factor.

This analysis only shows the safest recoverable rights amount of those movies, it does not mean to undervalue any specific Actor / Movies., this is safest, minimum & practically possible recoverable rights from Kerala Box-office & the maximum value can not be predicted.
