@markemerritt Yes true. selling equity to institutions at a discount at shareholders expense also rubbed me wrong. Managements argument of benefits through better capital stack is hard to quantify. I dont think theyre lying about their reasoning but they can still be wrong. Thx for your answer
@markemerritt Yes many shareholders have been extremely upset about this. Big headscratcher initially, dropped almost 35%. However stocks reaction since the buyers were identified seems to provide some redemption to managements decision. VFF has strongest institutional + insider stack IMO.
@markemerritt Thanks for the reply. I'm long VFF on a sizable position so trying to figure out if this means anything... YOLO and more recently MSOS have held outsized VFF position for a long time. I wonder why they are now reducing exposure as margins are now best in class alongside Auxly
@markemerritt Thx. Why do you think this is? Overexposure? At some point VFF was 20% of YOLO. It is curious seeing them sell after what I think was one of the strongest quarters in cannabis land
