The hate Tori Vega (& Victoria Justice herself) gets is absurd. People have shifted their ‘critique’ of the character to the actress in real life which is inexcusable.

They will justify their hatred for the character because ‘she wasn’t the most talented’ — was that not the premise of the show? A ‘normal girl’ joins Hollywood Arts, a school filled with extraordinary talented kids?

The fact she was the lead of the show yet not ‘the most talented’ has gotten people too comfortable to insult the actress in real life in favor of her cast mates. All of this over interview clips from 15-16 years ago where she tried to not exclude any of her co-stars when answering questions.

I’ll never be OK with people hating on her just to hate on her.
