"Hello, this is Jeongyeon.

After giving a lot of thought to how to express my feelings, I am sharing this letter with you all.
JYP has been my second home since my teenage years; a place where I’ve spent so much time and created so many cherished memories.
I am now preparing to start a new chapter in a new place.

Leaving a place that feels so familiar to me was daunting at first, but I was able to find the courage thanks to my members and our ONCE who have always believed in me.
I am deeply grateful to my members and ONCE; words cannot fully express my gratitude. I am also very grateful to the JYP family who helped me grow into the person I am today.

La cantidad de gente que no entiende la diferencia entre una denuncia falsa y que un acusado no sea encontrado culpable. Una denuncia falsa implica que la persona fabrique una acusación, con el fin de amenazar o dañar a alguien; es decir, se debe PROBAR la intención y la fabricación. Que tú denuncies a un hombre por abuso sexual y no sea encontrado culpable, no significa, en lo absoluto, que la denuncia sea falsa. Probar el abuso sexual suele ser complicado, razón misma por la que la impunidad en esos casos es altísima. Siempre salen con "y las pruebas" como si fuera responsabilidad de las mujeres probar y como si fuera lógico; no es como que a media violación te den chance de poner una cámara o al finalizar te firmen una confesión, ¿saben? Es como decir que si tú denuncias un delito, pero no pasa nada, en realidad lo inventaste todo.

Perseguir las denuncias falsas es necesario. Creer que cualquier denuncia que no proceda es falsa lo único que hará es revictimizar mujeres que sí fueron agredidas. Y, con la pena, los números NO respaldan que la mayoría de las denuncias sean falsas.

Mijos, vivimos en un país donde 1 de cada 4 encontrados culpables (no acusados, no denunciados, no señalados, CULPABLES) por FEMINICIDIO, no recibe pena alguna. En un país donde vas con mensajes de tu ex textualmente amenazándote de muerte y no hacen nada hasta que cumple su amenaza. Y ustedes creen que porque una mujer dice "Paquito me violó", Paquito termina detenido y con la vida destruida en 24 horas. No funciona así, gente.
