Comeback ultimately doomed by a poor first half on both sides of the ball w/a continuation of a stunning lack of situational awareness by coach & QB. Terry's injury will hurt a ton. Bye week would've been more interesting w/out their 2nd half. I'm guessing Quinn survives bye wk.
The comeback was nice, but the reality is that Washington over its last 18 regular-season games now is 3-14-1 with a point differential of -168.
This team is so far from what it should be in Season No. 3 of the Adam Peters/Dan Quinn regime.
Unacceptable and inexcusable.
7 YEARS AGO TODAY. 😭🇺🇸
The Nationals SWEPT the Cardinals to win their first NL pennant and reach the WORLD SERIES!
@CharlieSlowes on the call. Absolute chills. 🥹
Commanders coach Dan Quinn authored one of the worst examples of clock management in NFL history -- and one of the team's owners has already spoken out about it. https://t.co/YaoODp10Bu
"It was the worst end-of-game blunder in franchise history, and it is on the very, very short list of the worst in NFL history."
@kevinsheehanDC on Washington's horrible final minute of OT in Sunday's tie with the Giants
Stephen A Smith on #Commanders HC Dan Quinn:
“Dan Quinn, it was nice knowing you as the head coach for the Washington Commanders. This will be your last season. You will not be the head coach of the Washington Commanders next season…I know an imminent dismissal when I see one”

@icecoldstew Without JD5, Giants would have won walking away yesterday.
Ultimately, the tie will hurt the Giants way more than Washington this season. And they danced off the field. LOL
After digesting this Commanders tie and talking to players in the locker room, my one big thought:
This is all on Dan Quinn and the offensive coaches.
They over complicated all of it. No play should have been called. It should have been a spike. Field goal. Game over.
