I’ve been quieter than usual
because since the end of June
I’ve been #Namjooning through Belgium (via Germany), Denmark & France
Preparing a (free) book of essays on
The Art of Namjooning
Would anyone be interested in being an early reader? It would be helpful to get some feedback, maybe starting in the fall
I liked the closing statement the most.
“The stadium became a living portrait of the community that had carried BTS through years of separation, a place where different generations, nationalities and experiences briefly became one. Everything else – the fireworks, the flames, the remixed arrangements and the stage – existed to support that.”
Living portrait of the community that carried BTS through years of separation, a place where different generations, nationalities and experiences become one.
THAT is who ARMY are. THAT is what we did for BTS during a time where all they could do was hope we stayed. THAT was the promise we kept.
Everything else; the arguments, the petty set ups, it’s just noise. It’s worth remembering. And it’s beautiful that this is how most of the world sees us too.
Well done ARMY 💜

"[...] their biggest strength is [...] the extraordinary connection between seven artists and their global community.
BTS want to show what a reunion [...] feels like - the longing, gratitude, and happiness [...]. In Munich, they succeeded in doing exactly that."
Great read!
