@oscarbiastri the world is just a revolving door of men for oscar’s prostate… 4 seasons of brilliance. full frontals. the US government appeals the porn ban on the grounds that it’s peak. warner bros loses the rights to brazzers. they cast the actual people it’s based on as per policy
@oscarbiastri i think the vid is trying to say that oscar holds an annual fuck a fan contest, a fuck-a-fanathon if u will, and instead of fans, only lando max george and alex end up applying on the google forms. now he has to pay the piper. would love to see that idea brought to fruition!
@oscarbiastri the complete lack of narrative coherence gets me every time like… i was scrolling thru their account the other day and had actual tears in my eyes
ruth about the mclaren gearbox ratios:
“and love this gearbox ratio choice that mclaren had, where when they got the handbook from merc in february, they're there saying, ‘hey, you told us that it was going to be this, and we built our gearbox for that.’
so effectively, you know, every time the car goes over 288 kph, they're up against the rev limiter because they've got much shorter gears.
[…] now, mclaren built their gearbox to a spec that's completely normal. and the kind of the brochure they got for what power unit they're going to end up with, paraphrasing, ended up being slightly different to the actual power unit that they got.
so they turn up in february and their gear ratios, or what it looked like at the moment, were a little bit short, which basically means, yes, they've got better torque traction out of the corners, but they were losing more than they were gaining because they're up against the rev limit when it goes above 288. so you can often see that mclaren, compared to the merc with the same power unit, is taking it one gear higher, you know, for the same kind of speed. and then what was really interesting, if you look at the mclaren quotes, is they went from being like, this is such a disadvantage, to, hmm, actually, with the way that the calendars may be changing, and again, i'm just saying what i think the reasoning was, and the fact that, you know, our car is great in these low speed corners, we've got a driver that's great in these low speed corners, rather than use our one joker, which they have, a free joker to change it, we're actually going to be happy to keep our ratios.
[…]
so what's really interesting is that mclaren took something that initially looked it was a disadvantage, and then have actually turned it for them, their car and their driver, into this kind of really cool engineering bet, is the way that i would describe it, where looking at the rest of the calendar, they've kind of built in, you know, kind of, okay, you go on black, and i'll go on red. so for each track, whenever there's more kind of those talk events, and that dominates it. so think zandvoort, budapest, madrid — singapore, they're going to be looking; having an advantage just with that power unit.
then you go to places like monza, and they're going to have, they're paying more on the straights because they're up against the limiter.”
Q: "if lando picked your red carpet look, what would it be?"
oscar: "something absolutely ludicrous because that's the kind lf thing lando would do. he knows my style is quite tame, so he'd defintely go with somewhere out there for me. i'd probably do the same back to him." 😂
🚨| McLaren Decides on Norris' Le Mans Participation:
— Lando Norris will not compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2027. Speaking to media, it was confirmed that despite rumors, Norris will not participate in the iconic race.
— After the Spanish Grand Prix, Norris traveled to Portugal to test McLaren's new Hypercar, the MCL-HY, at Portimao. He completed a 38-lap program, testing various components and gathering data for McLaren's development. Norris expressed his gratitude for the opportunity:
“It was great for them to give me a chance to have a bit of fun and try something new, particularly during their busy preparations for next year.”
— Norris emphasized the value of the data collected during the test and his contribution to the team:
“I think we also collected some valuable data, and I hope I was able to bring a different set of feelings, comments, and perspectives on things, which is useful for the team in this crucial testing period.”
— Reflecting on the experience, Norris appreciated the chance to drive something other than a Formula 1 car:
“The fact I got to try something different, especially still as part of the McLaren family, was very special.”
— Norris did not rule out future opportunities to drive the Hypercar:
“It was a fun day in a quick car on a cool track, helping the team prepare for the start of WEC next year. A big thanks to everyone involved, I can't wait to get back in the car in the future.”
— Despite no Formula 1 weekend clashing with Le Mans in 2027, Norris would require special dispensation to participate. However, it has been confirmed that he will not be part of the next edition of the race.
