It's baffling how one company can be painted as both the villain and the expert within the same platform. Read this one till the end.

These are two articles by @livemint about the same company, Hedonova.

The first article was published on May 2022:

This article brought some serious concerns about Hedonova to light. It claimed that Hedonova, supposedly run by Anurag Bhatia, who was previously involved in scams and shady deals. It’s said that Bhatia, who has a record of fraudulent activities and barred by SEBI to participate in the market, might be pretending to be Neil Aryan Birla to run this company.

It was reported that Hedonova might be a scheme designed to trick people into giving them money, with false promises and fake identities. Even people who worked there were suspicious because they rarely saw their bosses, and the company made claims about partnerships and associations that other firms denied. Basically, this article suggested that Hedonova and its bosses might be up to no good.

The second Article was published on 10 July 2023

In a contrasting turn, Livemint then presents Suman Banerjee, Hedonova’s CIO, as a seasoned voice on investments and the financial market. He offers insights, strategies, and forecasts, with no hint of the serious concerns previously detailed about his company. It’s as if the clouds around Hedonova suddenly cleared, making way for the sunshine of financial wisdom. If you look at Suman's photo in the article or his LinkedIn DP, it definitely looks AI generated which sits well with the first article by @livemint . This article definitely looks like a paid coverage but the fact that such a trusted party is dealing with a SEBI convict should raise a lot of questions in the minds of investors and regular followers.
