So I should receive my last skein + extra mohair before the MKAL starts✨. I did a mini swatch of just two colors that I unraveled because I don’t want to run out of yarn. The solids and the mohair I’ll be more than fine, but the multis don’t have much extra yardage.

I spent $80 less than the most expensive kits, and that’s with an additional 3 extra skeins of pricey mohair (2 skeins of each color). I’ll also have 200+ yards left over of my solid colors. I also didn’t have to pay shipping or deal with t*****s.

This is my first MKAL, so I learned if you’re going to order your yarn for 8-9 colors online, get your variegated skeins FIRST, see them in real life, and then order the coordinating or contrasting solids.

However, I am using three different yarn bases (4 with mohair) to get the right palette, though I think it will be fine.
