1986 and 1996 truly gave us a lot of good shit. So many things celebrate 40th and 30th anniversaries this year (Trainspotting, Tamagotchi, Pokémon, Dragon Quest, Famitsu, Spice Girls, me).
My workload lately has been about the same as when I used to work in-house. It’s exhausting, but also somehow very cozy to have a routine of 8-10 hours work, watch a little show, make a little dinner, take a bath, have a little snack and play a game.

Mt. Tsukuba, of course. I've lived along the Tsukuba Express my entire stay in Japan, but have yet to actually make it over there....
@nekomi_kuri I don't know. I was fed up with the spaces around me feeling temporary, so I tried to fix it a bit. Turns out putting stuff on the walls helps a lot.
No furniture yet, but I finally get to see the flat with my own eyes 🥴
It’s a nice space, everything seems to be working fine, gas company checked all panels in kitchen/bathroom and installed a sensor/alarm.

@miladyhella Yes! I had heard that the books were more adult and serious, so that also made me want to read them. I love that kids might not get the more serious themes so it can be enjoyed by all ages.
I went solo because the festival has been cancelled 2 years in a row, so my friends were like “naaaaah we’re not setting aside a whole day for that, it won’t happen”.
I arrived around 3 hours before it was supposed to start, had a 6 pack of drinks, sun umbrella and hat and book
