Air India cancelled my flight from Ayodhya to Delhi scheduled on 7 August 2026, and the only rebooking option they offer is for 6 August 2026 – one day earlier, which completely disrupts my planned itinerary and all linked bookings.
@airindia I have received the DM. However, I am surprised with the reply when Air India hasn’t refunded me fully mentioning convenience fee cannot be refunded when the cancellation is done by Air India for the flight, not by the customer. @DGCAIndia this is for your information.
As this change was made by Air India and not requested by me, I am entitled to a full refund for the original 7 August 2026 flight, not an inconvenient alternative date.

@airindia I have replied to the DM message. The baggage pre-book option through manage booking wasn’t available in hen I was trying from past 8-10hours and I was told by the customer care to buy it at the counter with the higher prices.
@airindia@DGCAIndia really disappointed with the customer service of Air India. I have my domestic flight from BBI to BOM today at 21:10 and I am unable to buy additional baggage prior to my travel.
The only option I have given by the customer service is to buy at the counter with the higher price. Also, when I indicated the I have my intentional connection within 24 hours, the customer service is still not giving any option to for international baggage allowance rules.
