Shift your mindset to ask for the Lord’s guidance instead of His permission.
Asking for His permission says that you’ve already made YOUR plan while asking for His guidance speaks to the trust you have for Him to lead you in HIS plan.
Over time I have learned that before I take out my feelings on others, I must process them with God first. It is so easy to act out of anger, but when we take a step back and allow the Lord to help us realize our “anger” is actually hurt, then we can effectively communicate.
Sometimes setting boundaries and creating distance, particularly in friendships, gives you the peace from the Lord that your heart yearns for. If the relationship is a hinderance to your growth, reevaluate their position in your life.
so if college kids get claimed by their parents as a dependent they aren’t eligible for the $1,200 stimulus package and since they aren’t under 16 they don’t get the $500 child credit either, not to mention most college kids are jobless right now. how is this ok?
when you realize the coronavirus stimulus bill completely throws college aged kids under the bus because their parents still claim them as dependents so they can’t get $1200 but they’re over the age of 16 so their parents don’t get $500 for them
Some girl out there needs to hear this:
You will never be as skinny as you were in high school because YOU AREN’T 16 ANYMORE. You have a body that can BEAR kids. You are past puberty. Stop beating yourself up for not fitting in the american eagle size 0 jeans you wore years ago
