Newey made Verstappen appear far better than he really is. Put any top-10 driver in a one-man team, give them a Newey rocket and that level of FIA favoritism, and they probably walk away with three WDCs too.

Imagine being 41 years old, still quicker than the Belgian kid with the fastest engine (and FIA help), quicker than Leclerc in the same car, and quicker than Ru🐍🐍ell and even Antonelli in that rocket ship, who mind you are all in their prime.

But instead of celebrating and acknowledging one of the sport's greatest legends, like any serious sport would, we get these Red Bull-infested clown commentators serving up gems like this whenever a 41-year-old Lewis Hamilton delivers. The moment he performs, the puzzlement kicks in and their bias starts seeping through. Rather than giving Hamilton the credit, they immediately attribute it to Ferrari, tying themselves in mental knots to explain away what they're watching.

You can literally hear them struggling to process it. Who put these effin' amateurs in the commentary box? Unbelievable. Not a serious sport.

Hamilton puts it on P1 on hards (27 min) and keeps P1:

Antonelli goes P1 on softs (8 min):
