Pressão, ameaça, retaliações, nada disso me assusta.
I have seen your comments and I have seen your concerns. But this is my story.
I do not expect you to understand or sympathize. That is not what I am looking for. What I want to do is raise awareness.
Initially, when this happened to me, I thought I was cursed or something lmao😂
I had been so quiet about it for so long that, to an extent, I think it was eating me up. For a long time, I felt like I was the only person experiencing something like this.
But ever since those two interviews, quite a number of young women and mothers have reached out to me with similar, if not the same, experiences. Some were confused and looking for answers and solutions, just like I was years ago. Some didn’t even know that what they were experiencing had a name until I spoke out, and are now beginning to ask questions and seek answers.
And this is weirdly comforting to me, as I’m sure it is for them too. I see them, and they see me. And that is a very wholesome feeling in itself🤍
I’m grateful that I can be a point of contact for women searching for answers or simply looking for someone who understands. If sharing my story helps someone feel less alone or take the first step toward finding answers, then I’m glad I chose to speak.
I intend to be an advocate for these kinds of issues women experience, so that the girl child does not feel unseen🌸
Last year , we fed over 15,000 people on the street of Accra! And then I realized, what if we do this every year, A day where food is free for all? World food day should never stop here❤️. Big announcement coming up !
