The fertilizer sector is developing a very promising technical setup and may be preparing to begin a new bullish move.

After correcting from its 2022 highs, the index found support along its long-term rising trendline. Since then, it has recovered, moved back above the Ichimoku cloud, and is attempting to consolidate above a key technical area.

Momentum is also turning higher and has just moved into positive territory, strengthening the possibility that the consolidation phase is nearing an end.

If this setup is confirmed, September could mark the beginning of a new bullish leg for the sector. A breakout above the recent highs would further strengthen the outlook and could trigger a much broader move.
