@toni_aa Stop giving that account attention. She serves up fresh stories every day like a barbecue vendor. Just check her bio, it literally says “Storyteller.”
@xkidomania@Uchechukwupatr5 I understand you. It really depends on what is being built and the location. In areas with predominantly stiff lateritic soils, gravelly clay, or rock, they might get away with it. Otherwise, it's basically a Hail Mary project hoping for the best.
@Beejaysport Morally, he is not a perfect role model for this century; by today's standards, he would be considered a terrible leader. However, he may have been a perfect role model within the context of 7th-century Arab culture.
@afroadulting Try looking at it from the perspective of those affected, not from a moral standpoint. The blame game will cont. until the FG creates better economic opportunities across regions. When a few pple are seen as responsible, the whole group often gets blamed. It's an unfortunate cycle
@afroadulting Yeah, I understand your POV. People's main concern is insecurity, which wasn't a major issue in the SW before. Many link it to economic migration, rightly or wrongly. When the FG fails to address concerns, people look for someone to blame, & the narrative can become xenophobic
@grindmstr@xniyi You’re not lying. Some parts of Benin don’t even allow Aboki riders, but here in SW, your security guard has about 25 people sleeping at your gate. Go to Agege; there are dozens of homeless northerners around the rail track, & they come in nonstop everyday.Nobody is stopping them
@armanifeante Not every part of Ibadan has agberos;in fact, most areas don't. In contrast, almost every corner of Lagos seems to be filled with opportunists known as agberos. One of them stole my UPV Pundit machine, which I had securely locked inside my car.
@ijiomadivine @EzzyMUFC Manchester City were not part of the traditional 'Big Four' (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United). They only entered the conversation after their 2009 season
@SomiEkhasomhi It’s crazy seeing some Africans and South Asians under every comment section making up false stories, commenting on things that have nothing remotely to do with the topic, or creating fake discussions and conversations like their location isn’t visible, all because of X payout
@OyoHeritage@thebeeperfumery Please, don’t be a lame bigot, use your brain. A Christian, regardless of tribe, will attend any church regardless of where it is located. Igbos dominate the Catholic Church because they attend it regardless of the location. You don’t dominate something you don’t participate in.
@official_Gegeh Just give me The College Dropout. It’s like watching a movie and listening to music at the same time. It’s funny, uplifting, soulful. It has that Tyler Perry-style of story. It’s an album for both adults and kids alike. In my opinion, it’s the greatest album ever made.
