We harvested the majority of our butternut squash this week- just a couple stragglers left on the vine. We have 81 pounds of squash curing on the patio, not counting what we’ve already eaten and given away! All from four plants. I’d say that was a success!

We started a prehistory unit study this week and are having so much fun! Today we made edible models of the Earth’s layers. A great way to pass the time until our newest batch of goat kids makes an appearance!

Yesterday morning at 6am, this cat sat on me in my bed...and peed. In his defense, he’d been meowing for half an hour to be let out of the bedroom, but I was ignoring him. I really prefer it when he pees in the toilet, which is his other specialty 🙈
