@20MinuteTims The main gripe is it’s a shallow pool of candidates Celtic are dipping into.
That said, Keane has probably been more successful than, say, Askou, who many wanted at Parkhead.
@Gastro_Celtic Winning wipes any doubts away.
He feels the sort of appointment though that he’s one or two bad results away from ugly scenes.
Kinda like when Rodgers returned.
He’s a lazy choice, but Askou had less success and folk wanted him.
@Fitzy__07 I’m not saying he’s the guy we should go for. Lazy choice.
Folk, though, were keen on Askou and his record was pretty limited. Maybe moreso.
@AnthonyRJoseph Plenty to take a swipe at Celtic about, but folk maybe missing point that ‘Well would have been unlikely to afford Welsh’s wages & would he have wanted to join full time anyway…?
@liamcsc I reckon Rodgers will be the last manager of his level we will attract, at least for time being.
Even at that, we only got him because he was apparently a ‘fan’ and out of management at the time.
@aboutceltic To be fair, I’d imagine MON and Rodgers would never have been the manager but for the Celtic/Irish connection.
Take the point though. It’s the Celtic way!
@20MinuteTims T’was always going to be so unless there’s a change to how the club conducts its business.
Irish? Celtic minded? Apply here.
Scales might even end up getting the gig…
@TheParkheadF Valuable contribution with two winners - but he was a bit part player otherwise.
Time to move on.
Knowing Celtic, three year deal incoming.
@ETimsNet@PSG_English No fan of the PSG story, but you’d think Arteta was the plucky underdog who cobbled a squad together on pocket money judging by what’s now been spouted…
@davidstoker_lfc@ScottishFA Wash it down with the usual flat, tasteless coca-cola or the offer of lukewarm tap water when they inevitably run out of everything….!
@ProfPMiddleton To be fair, high court preliminary hearings are often admin adjourned - ie date switched without calling in court - for various reasons.
So, nothing particular unique in what occurred in the Murrell case.
