The strength and booming confidence of Lorene Scafaria’s “Hustlers” couldn’t overshadow its shortcomings in the directing/writing department. It’s impressive thematic elements remained dormant, leaving me wanting more from the seductively sinful crime duo. This is how I’d fix it.
