最初のページは砂時計型の視線誘導しつつ、ひたすら王の視線で話が進むんだけど、王はコムギのことを気にしているのでコムギ向き、読者には背中を見せている
で、真ん中の目も片目で相手を「観察するもの」として描いてる

二枚目のページはコムギが王にとって意外な一言を発するターンで、ページを真ん中で切ってあくまで二人の相対を描くんだけど、コムギも王も最初のページとは全然表情が違う
で、それを見せるために最初のページの下側で敢えて王の顔を上から（つまり影のある状態で）見せてる
二枚目に戻って、王を正面から描くことで影を消し、背景はコムギの表情と連動している
対する王は目を二つ描くことで驚きの表情を見せている、と強調。そうしなくても王の顔は驚いているんだけど、構図的にどうしても小さくなってしまうから補足をしてるんだと思う。丁寧だなぁ

最初のページはコムギが驚いて（と言ってもなんだろう、くらいの軽い驚きだけど）いて、次のページでは王が思いっきり驚いている。対比～～～

最後に全然二人に興味がないピトーと、最初のページの王は向きこそ似てるんだけど、ピトーは誰も見ておらず、王はしっかりコムギを見ている
