Hearing awful rumours that @RSPBNI suppressed news of a Red-footed Falcon during a dragonfly survey at the public reserve of Montaigh’s Moss a few weeks ago. Would be shocking if true. Can @RSPBNI confirm or deny, please?
Indian Pond Heron showing well at the Sulaibikhat Cafe, Kuwait first thing this morning. The 3rd record for the Western Palearctic. A great start to our short break in Kuwait with Dan Pointon and Bob Swann. @BirdGuides
Our first birding day in Algeria and we couldn’t have asked for a better start. Really good views of at least eleven Algerian Nuthatch at Bouafroun Forest, near Djmila. A supporting cast of Maghreb Owl, Levaillant’s and Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers and all the good Algerian subsp.
For some reason @cianbirder has been the target of bullying again. Cian is the sharpest birder I know and one of the best bird-finders in the country. Here’s some of the best birds he’s found me:
After dipping Sociable Lapwing in Kuwait during December, I couldn’t resist twitching this bird in Cornwall today with @1squidge. Amazing to finally catch up with this critically endangered wader! 💪🏻 Great to catch up with some top lads too @01000011S@knotsbirder@DeansMatthew
2023 was the best year of birding I have had to date. Some of the highlights from Ireland, Morocco, Mallorca and Kuwait are included in this video. Happy New Year to all.
We've been extremely radio silent of late, but that doesn't mean we haven't been birding! Check out Peter's video below, and you might see some familiar faces! Hope you all are keeping well and happy new year!
My wife and her @DonAshGAA team are running the @dublinmarathon next Sunday in aid of Breast Cancer Research. Please donate if you can, a reshare if you can't 👍 Thanks, Mick. Fundraiser by Gavin Doyle : G4MO Donaghmore Ashbourne Breast Cancer Research https://t.co/T7QJKKJE6h
Delighted to see Ireland's first twitchable Tennessee Warbler yesterday! Even more happy that it was found by my mate and @TwoInTheHand1 alum @leturkbirder! Peter has predicting weather down to an art & I really can't wait to see what he finds next! Pic credit @BMcCloskey_98

Proof if proof were still needed 🤣🤣🤣 @BirdGuides@RareBirdAlertUK that there were indeed two Baltimore Orioles on Inishbofin. Big thank you to @1squidge @BMcCloskey_98 for coming up with the proof, twice in one day!
