Was forcefully confined by the property manager and forced to pay the booking amount to be allowed to leave.
I reached the reception and the property was extremely dirty, so I asked to cancel the booking.
Manager refused /1
@OYO4U Addressed my foot. The clueless idiot just kept repeating the same lines over and over again, without even bothering to hear or understand what I was saying, which is basically what every call with you so far has been.

After I narrated the entire sequence of events, including how I & the female were physically confined & restrained for an hour - which is a cognizable crime under IPC 339 /1

and blocked the elevator. The worst part is I flagged safety/security concern on the OYO app, but did not receive a response from their end. Finally, called them myself at 9313931393. What followed was a deeply frustrating experience. The agent was an absolute idiot who knew /2

Written Complaint has been filed at the local police station. I along with a constable visited the OYO, CCTV footage has been reviewed. Property manager has been called to station. SHO will review and decide on including @riteshagar & @oyorooms in the FIR!
