@WolvesRube21@srjkhaan@ButlerVZN brunson is that nigga, nigga. quit tryna downplay him
and sure Jimmy played w them but he got to the chip w/o them
D Rose was injured and a shell of himself by the time Butler was relevant on his own team
@iGreg7 infernape: i forgot the base stat total (i dont play competitive); their abilities are blaze and iron fist; it’s weak to water, psychic, flying, and ground
Kristian believes Jalen Brunson is a 1A.
All I know is that the Knicks will not have the best player in just about every playoff series beyond the first round and they will very likely have a worse top-2 than their opponent once they get past the first round.
Love Brunson and what he brings, but we’re putting the cart before the horse here. At this point, the Knicks haven’t accomplished anything more than the KD/Kyrie Nets did and they will likely have to make the same choice Brooklyn did of culture/depth versus adding more star power once they fall short in the playoffs.
@srjkhaan@ButlerVZN it took playing with generational talents (they are generational talents themselves btw, Wiggins just never really figured it out) to get a ring.
it’s not poetic at all, it’s ironic, unless u hate Butler or something lol
@srjkhaan@ButlerVZN Butler knows that winning anything is a team effort, the problem is that he has to do so much for the team that when he wants to step back, no one else steps up. Minnesota was a top 4 seed until he got injured, he was critical of Ben’s lack of usage, & we know abt Miami
@user_c@nbarealist23@TheDunkCentral as for Brunson, 2023 they ran into the Heat who just dominated the conference
2024 basically everyone was injured against the Pacers
last year they couldn’t hang with the Pacers offensive onslaught
Health and the team locking in was the difference between this year and past years
@user_c@nbarealist23@TheDunkCentral it’s a team sport, as even when LeBron and the Cavs won in 2016, it took Kyrie outplaying Curry the entire series to make it happen. That primarily and the other myriad of happenings were the difference between 2015 and 2016.
@user_c@nbarealist23@TheDunkCentral no her point was that he couldn’t be a championship caliber #1 option. obviously he is now, and dropping 45 points in a closeout game and finals mvp puts that narrative 12 feet under.
@user_c@nbarealist23@TheDunkCentral name a time when the championship was won by a single individual and not the whole team showing up when it mattered
