He glanced down at his phone, the screen dim but still open to the last message he had debated sending.
Nicholas leans forward slightly, excitement flickering in his tone. “What if we collaborate? You bring the symbolism to life with the designs, and I tie them into the plot. Something timeless, something people will talk about.”

Nicholas gestures toward her sketches. “These designs—do you think they could work as part of a larger narrative? Like something my characters might wear to show their growth or struggles?”

His eyes shift back to her sketchpad. “Speaking of fresh ideas, what kind of concept are you working on? Maybe it could even inspire a scene or two.” He leans in, his curiosity evident in the way he watches her work.

He taps his fingers lightly on the edge of her table. “As for tattoos being a central theme, it’s definitely not common, but I think that’s what makes it so intriguing. There’s so much untapped depth to explore. Stories etched on skin, the permanence, or impermanence, of it all.
“It’s a bit of a different approach for me, but after meeting you today, I think it’d be a great opportunity to bring your insight into something I’m passionate about.”
